lets pretend the sabres DONT get mceichel. strome is an extremely good prospect, drawing comparisons to joe thornton. so while, obviously, getting mceichel is huge, and anything less would be a let down, it wouldnt be the end of the world and the sabres would still get a REALLY good prospect. the rebuild wouldnt suddenly become a failure.
1,2, or 3... the sabres are going to get a dandy. i REALLY like this team heading forward. especially if reinhart can come in and play well next year.
HACKETT needs to play in 5 more games to keep his RFA status

depending on how hackett plays, that could be a good thing, or bad. sabres are in need of a goalie next year.
If I was Nolan I would show the Sabres players what the fans think about the team trying to win, And how upset they are that they are playing hard.
I think it's more than 30 minutes in 5 games so we could always pull Lindback if he "struggles".
