With St. Louis doing well this year, it looks like the Ryan Miller trade was a complete flop.

it would look bad to have a hyped, potential generational player move with the team. if the yotes move with eichel, ok, well, it didnt work. if the yotes move with mcdavid, it literally proves the experiment was doomed from the start. at least if they move without mcdavid, they can try and save face somewhat. but mcdavid? even mcdavid couldnt save them?

could be, depends where it finishes. the jets take the lower first between the isles/blues picks. sabres retain the higher one.
