I'd sign him just to play him for both games against the Pats and have him blitz Brady on every down, going for his knee.

Heck yeah!! I think we are a team that is a legit favorite to sign him assuming we loose Searcy.

30 years old & tore his achilles last October.

I would rather have Searcy back.

I'm pretty sure Searcy will be gone and will get some stupid offer from someone.

It wouldn't surprise me if someone ends up paying him like 6m a year.

Searcy is solid but he is not worth that kind of money.

If some team wants to give Searcy STUPID money, Pollard on the CHEAP could be the way to go.

Pollard was to make $3.1 for the Titans this year. At 30 years old coming off an injury, he should be CHEAP.

Unfortunately, at his age and coming off the injury, he could just as easily be DONE.

It's a pretty weak safety market and teams always love overpaying for FA safeties. As you said he's a solid player and he's still young. I'd be more surprised if he doesn't cash in, to be honest.

As Gville pointed out, Pollard could just as easily be done as cheap.

We have too many other options at S...

We have Duke Williams who looked good when he was on the field

    Baccari Rambo

    Jonathan Meeks

    Kenny Ladler

    Deon Broomfield

If healthy, no question Pollard is better than Meeks, Ladler & Broomfield.

Very true. That will remain to be seen.
