Nobody here but Spiked agreed with me when I said it two years ago. We had people calling him a bust and screaming to cut him. Most of the board was in the wait and see if he gets it together camp because of his benching, and coming to camp fat, and to a lesser extent the street racing a drug bust.Originally posted by Mike View Post

On the bright side, he's currently at $8 million, JJ Watt's contract has one year at $20 and the rest are at $12-$13. If Dareus gets a similar contract the additional cap hit is only $4 or $5 million. Hardly devastating. Plus we can Franchise tag him next year for about $10 million, although that would probably guarantee his eventual exit.Comment
