Political correctness ( or cancel culture as it is called today) is a doctrine fostered by a delusional ,illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by MSM which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Pretty funny but you really have to know hockey to get it.

    Re: The sinking maple leaf.

the night before the trade deadline, i was reading about a potential detroit-toronto trade involving phanuef and anthony mantha. i remember chuckling to myself. i show up for work, and anthony mantha, who lived in my building, was in the process of moving out. it was close to midnight. he brings me his keys and thanks me (i had helped him many times over the course of the season) and i wish him good luck, and i remember feverishly checking my phone for trade info once he left. between those rumors and the timing of his move out, i was very sure he was moved. alas, he wasnt. just imagine of the leafs had gotten him though. hes probably going to be a good one.

The amount of salary that Toronto would have to eat was the hold up, They ran out of time.

I can see it happening in the offseason, What players would go the other way, Dun no!

I have no idea how true this is, but the leafs, apparently turned down a trade for John Tavares.

Again, no idea how legit this source is.
