honestly, i loved the 40th anniversary jerseys with the script "buffalo" across the chest. id love for them to bring that back.

I went to the Sabres/Caps game in DC last week with my buddy who's a Caps fan. We saw a couple other Sabres fans wearing those jerseys and even he thought they looked good. I'd be all for bringing those back as the 3rd jersey.

I just hope the Sabres learned from all these jersey debacles. The goat head was ok but was too much a product of the trends of the day. Every time they try to deviate from the classic, it's a disaster.

in honesty, however, i feel the current home jerseys are as boring as white bread and water for dinner. just some minor tweaks would be nice. i love the away jersey.

what made the third such a disaster, IMO, isnt the jersey itself, really, it was the font on the numbers and lettering. you change that back to the more classic block lettering and numbering, it probably wouldnt have looked AS bad.
