Funny you linked an article about the NBA, we are discussing the NFL.

And actually, the Raiders for one are a team strapped for cash & need every dollar they can get from luxury boxes.

I'm sure there are other teams as well that depend on that money from boxes which the Bills don't have to.

It's the latest in the unholy alliance between the NFL and the CBA. Guaranteed $ tells players to not play hard, but protect your body at all costs. We see this already in the joke called team practice. It's essentially flag football.
