I just re-watched some Grayson last night because of the recent hype and because I don't recall thinking much either way when I saw him during the season.
It's only one game at this point, but my general observation is that he has nice touch on his deep balls, average arm strength otherwise, and he periodically throws a maddeningly lazy pass that would be deemed a pick-6 if I were charting for a living. I didn't question his toughness or athleticism. Both seem okay to me, but he should use it a little more.
3rd-4th rounder in my opinion, but will go 2nd-3rd in a weak QB draft.

If the Browns want Grayson, the only shot the Bills have at him is the 2nd rnd.

Agreed. If you can get the 3rd best QB in the draft later than our second round pick I'm all for it.
You're right, Cassel is a lock because the Bills gave up a draft pick for him. Ugh.
Did you see that Taylor contract ? They like him more than you think.

It's not that much. I don't see them cutting him. But the Ravens, who knew him up close, let him walk. They upgraded to Schaub. Smart move. Baltimore makes many of those.
If the Browns want Grayson that should be a strong indicator that he is a future bust

Yeah that contract is nothing. Taylor is on the roster bubble if we bring in a QB.

Gary Kubiak who was the Ravens OC last year really wanted to sign Tyrod Taylor to the Broncos. They actually offered him more money than the Bills, but he chose Buffalo. I don't think the Ravens disliked Taylor, he just wanted an opportunity to compete for a starting job.
I saw this article also, and my immediate thought was to see how Grayson beards, by putting a variety of poorly drawn beards on a stock photo of him, to decide whether or not he has the stuff to be a pro QB regardless of his skills. "Grayson", good QB name. I can hear announcers shortening his name to GG. He's got a vaguely psychopathic look in his eyes where I can see him labeling someone who intercepts one of his passes with an unsportsmanlike cleat to the cup, or gouging a linemens eye in the pile, maybe even an opponent...the odd kidney punch to a ref...
But the beard. I worked up a few preliminary models, he looks best in a beard pattern filled with bricks, but unfortunately, so do Cassel, Manuel, Taylor and Tuel, Kim Pegula and Miley Cyrus for that matter. It threw me off so I had to step away from making poorly drawn beards and pattern filling them for a while.
Anyway, if he can grow a beard of bricks, I'd grab him in round 2.

That's awful harsh. He was just misplaced and inadequately skilled for the opportunity he was unprepared to achieve.
