That's some superb analysis right there.

Looks at record, sees which record is better, claims that the coach with the better record is the better coach.

            Now that is brilliant.

Ummmm, maybe you didn't read his post. Your argument doesn't matter, as CookieG is like...totes his bff...or at least he wishes. Plus, he was rolling on the floor laughing at you, so you know you were in the wrong. Maybe you'll think the next time you disagree with CookieG, as you'll have the likes of Swiper coming after you.

Shady, like nearly every other halfback, is reliant on the line in front of him to get the first few yards each time. When the line is weak, he struggles too. In 2012, the year Peters missed, Shady's stats went into freefall. From 4.8 y/c to 4.2 (tied for his lowest as a starter) and from 20 TDs in 15 games to 5 in 12. The offense dropped from 8th to 29th. Was Peters responsible for all of that? No, but he was a major contributor.

And the Coaching of Andy Reed & the other players on that team had more to do with the success of the Eagles than Peters has.
Peters made 2 pro bowls before he met Andy Reid and two Pro Bowls and an All Pro team since he left. Also, Reid was the one who instigated the trade for Peters and then promptly used the first overall pick trying to get a left tackle in Kansas City, so he clearly understands the importance of the position.

I don't think Peters was injured last year. Where did the Eagles finish?
They won 10 games (more than Buffalo) and finished #3 in scoring offense with Mark Sanchez QBing them most of the year (131 more points than Buffalo)

As if winning one more game & scoring more points than the Marrone led Bills was a great feat.

The Eagles did not make the playoffs. They were sitting at home like the Bills.

And the Pro Bowl is a JOKE, populated by popular players from big market teams.

I also don't see how the personnel is the same since Wood was a 1st rounder and is an above average C, Glenn was a 2nd rounder and is an excellent LT, Incognito is a former 3rd rounder who has played well throughout his career and made the Pro Bowl in 2012, and Urbik who was an UDFA who has graded out well every year but last when he was moved to LG. If you're talking just about RT and Henderson being a 7th rounder, a supremely talented 7th rounder at that, well, then, you've hit a home run with your analogy. Brava!

But I will admit RT is still a concern. However with the addition of McCoy, Clay and Felton, it becomes less of one.

Every team with an offensive line better than buffalo's (which is nearly every team in the league), and every team with an offense better than Buffalo, (which is nearly every team in the league), said "so what" too.
Because they didn't want the baggage. But thankfully for the Bills, they all passed.

Another good one. First off, how are Eric or Cordy going to help out with the tackles? Eric is a player away from one on either side and Cordy is 3 players away from the other tackle. Second of all, a poor player not only affects that position, but the one next to it/around it. Hence the reason why the OL is called a "unit."

Which is why they added Incognito, McCoy, Clay, and Felton to improve the running game.
Well...this should be really easy then. New coaching, talented Oline (except for a single question mark at RT) and tons and tons, among tons of weapons.

This should be a top 10 offense. Kromer gets the assistant coach of the year award, we put 4 or 5 offensive players in the Pro Bowl, all that conventional wisdom by the good offenses will be thrown out the window and...the ultimate joy, the Bills end up in the playoffs for the first time in forever...

                          Fandemonium!

We'll all be creaming our pants!

But until then..I'm going off a 15 year history of a team doing the same thing and achieving the same results.

Wake me when they move into the top 10.

Well there you have the FLOOR for Rex Ryan. If he's as good as you all claim - he's got better players and position coaches than Marrone did, he'd better do better than 9-7. And THAT is no small feat in Buffalo.

Anything less than 10 wins is not acceptable to me barring injuries.
