well, we know the draft isn't rigged.

There is no way the Oilers will pay him enough money when he becomes a free agent, so he'll be gone from Edmonton in 5 years. this is the worst outcome possible for the NHL. (yes, the Sabres were no where near as bad a "potential" destination for McDavid) Edmonton where good players vanish into obscurity. He'd have to put up Gretzky like numbers to do the NHL any good in Edmonton, and the league simply won't let a player put up 200 point seasons anymore.
