"he passes like oates, and shoots like ovechkin"

Buccigross joins wgr and talks eichel. Also notable? "He'll play 15-20 years and be in the hall of fame." As well as "he wants to be in buffalo."

Great to hear everything, the more I hear about Jack the more I like him. McDavid is going to score but Jack is going to will the team to be better & improve his teammates play. Last time we had real success was Briere / Drury, who literally did stuff like that.

And I think if Eichel is clever he should like landing in Buffalo.
Would one rather go to Edmonton !?!? Probably not.
And no matter how good he is, he probably realizes that he will not win a Stanley Cup on his own. And in Buffalo he joins a good talent pool. With committed owners. That should make this easier for him.

that's not a bad comparison, i hope it translates into the NHL, but he is a genius passer. that stood out in the highlights i saw. just fantastic. and yes, he has a wicked shot.
My wife told me that if I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, girls would find me VERY attractive.

    MY WIFE SAID THAT!!!

There are probably 2 people in the world who actually shoot like Ovechkin. I would say maybe the other is Stamkos. Eichel does seem to have great vision and a quick release but let's pump the breaks a bit here.

I have seen him on the ice. I think he is going to be an excellent pro and probably an all-star but the same as Hawerchuk went a little far with his comments on McDavid, this is a little far about Eichel.

Probably. But it's not like us sabres fans are making these up. These are real talking heads in the NHL world.

unless spiked agrees, these comments aren't true. remember only spiked knows hockey. we are all just lucky to read his commentary.

No I get that. I know it's not you guys making this up. It would be far from the first time that a sports reporter made an exaggerated claim to generate interest. Like I said, I think he going to be an all-star but to say he shoots like Ovechkin is a little over the top.
