All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

You don't know how a team change from year to year but based on what they finished last year and without a super star/performer popping out this year, you will say the better teams of the whole schedule are the Pats and Colts. In theory they should beat the Bills. And the Bills get them right out the gate for two of the 3 games at home.
Then a bunch of fellow middle class teams just like the Bills, Bengels, Dolphins, Chiefs, Eagles, Cowboys, Giants, maybe Jets, which can go either way. This is where the playoffs are decided.
Hell even Marrone was able to go 9-7 last year with the talent on the Bills.
And I am with Bert, 11-5.
Down with this, bd. No matter what we may think of Sexy Rexy, he has forgotten more about football than Marrone will ever know. And this year's squad seems to be better on offense while holding their own on defense. Any improvement on the offense is going to help the defense repeat last year's great season.
If the Bills slip or even just match 9-7, somebody is going to have some 'splainin' to do.

I am uncharacteristically optimistic this year. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Bills win one of those games. It all comes down to the Bills on offense. Ryan ain't exactly holding his cards close to his vest and they are going all in on the run. If they can control the ground game and keep Luck and/or Brady under 28 minutes of possession, the Bills can beat them.
Sure, the Pats are the champs, but Brady gets older every year and now they in with smoke and mirrors. If Pegula can outbribe Kraft (jk), we have a decent shot. Especially at home.
Indy's offense is top tier. Unless they've made some changes, their defense is mediocre.

I believe it when I see it. All our signings on O point the other way. Every coach (maybe except Kelly) says he wants to establish the run. But few really do.
Which signings make you think otherwise? McCoy, Felton, Clay, Incognito all say run, run, run. Who says pass? Cassel? No. Harvin? OK.
To me Clay says more pass than run. IIRC he is more of a receiver than a blocker. While McCoy is a RB, he is almost as much a receiver as a RB.
Then there is also the Watson trade (although I acknowledge that this was prior to Rex).
And I forgot about Felton, I give you that.
But the total offense looks more like versatile spread (especially with the emphasis on Clay) with receiving playmakers than a "line-up and punch them straightforward in the mouth".
But maybe we have a similar approach as Chan. Spread them out and then get your running yards.
