    Blysma comes with instant cred on the coaching end, and I would be floored at this point if Eichel heads back to college.

    so... where does that leave the Sabres heading into next year...

    ROR still in play...


    • Bob McKenzie: The haven’t been any substantive talks between the Avalanche and Ryan O’Reilly’s camp about a contract extension. He will be a UFA after next season. The Avalanche love him as a player, but they may not be able to or may not want to pay him market value. They need defensemen and McKenzie has always assumed they would trade him. More of a feeling than a fact.

    Eichel, ROR and Girgs... 3 beastly pivots with a Larson chaser that would make the Sabres a very difficult proposition to play against evey single night.
