I wouldnt be shocked to see him moved to saftey, he was the #1 rated safety coming out of highschool. I think RB will probably end up being where he stays but I wouldnt be surprised at all if they at least give him a shot on the other side of the ball.

Yesterday, when the Buffalo Bills selected Karlos Williams the running back/former defensive back from the Florida State Seminoles, many fans were upset. They could not believe why Williams was selected when the Bills had LeSean McCoy, Fred Jackson, Bryce Brown and Anthony Dixon in their backfield. Don’t discredit the Buffalo Bills scouting just yet…..
Could the Bills revert Karlos Williams back to safety? Karlos Williams was projected as a defensive star when he arrived at Florida State as the No. 5 overall recruit in the nation in 2011.
Williams’ high-water mark on defense came in an emergency stint at linebacker in his sophomore year during the ACC championship game, in which he made 11 tackles and secured a game-clinching interception. He’s also starred as a kick returner.
It sounds like the Bills can use Williams in a rack of different positions, but right now they need a safety and Williams brings the tenacity that Rex Ryan loves.
Think about it Bills fans, let a player play his natural position. I remember him being a very hard hitting safety at FSU.

Hey they must read BILLSZONE because I already had posted this idea....

This kid has questionable character, attitude and work ethic. He's going to need to turn all that around to even make the roster, the odds of which are no better than 50/50 maybe less. The idea that he's going to switch back to defense seems far fetched to me. As it is I think we took him a round early based on the red flags. If we didn't see him as a RB I'd see him more as a 7th rounder or UFA.

Whaley pointed out his ST ability. In the meantime, develop him.

No way they are cutting him unless some off-field incident comes up.

I can envision him blowing up ST, and working his way into a def rotation. And, maybe, as others have pointed out, be a slash RB. But honestly, again, with the way he moves and his body language, I see D all the way, especially in the mold of Rex's "bully" D philosophy. I'll wager $1 that he goes D if he makes the team.

like a previous poster said, if we wanted a s, we would have drafted one
At first I thought he might have been drafted as a safety, but you are right - after looking at his highlights, it looks like his future is as a runner.
