This draft was a like a BP fastball down the middle that the batter looked at for a called third strike.
It's on par with the 2000 Draft by Butler where he clearly didn't give a crap anymore.
Who are you trying to fool?

Baseball comparisons aside, it wasn't flashy. As others pointed out, the Bills had no #1 or #4 so what did you expect? The draft class itself wasn't strong. And there was no marquee QB to go after if the Bills wanted to. The best you can hope for is that Whaley knew what he was doing and that a couple of these players pan out.
There have been plenty of drafts where no one really panned out. If they get one or two guys that contribute for 3 to 5 years, then they got the best out of it that they could. You'd think Darby and Miller would be players. If the TE turns out to be a player that contributes, then I'd call the draft successful. But you have to wait until, at least, after camp and preseason.

Ground rule double.
Took some talented guys who need time to develop and make an impact.
I think he did the best he could without a 1 or 4.
Grand slam!?
All offseason we heard how this was the most stacked team in the league, the best roster in recent memory, that we had no holes except for the QB position. Now in order to justify all those draft picks people start bashing the current players telling us how bad they suck lol.
