Glad you're back for some additional Butthurt!

At least you're more devoted to the Patriots Innocence Fiction than Kraft is.

This is not Goodell vs Kraft. More likely the other 31 owners vs Kraft.

Goodell has only ever worked for the NFL his entire life. He knows who he owes.

That's pretty much how all of Deflatacus's posts look lately. And make similar sense.

Looks like Bobby came to his senses and admitted the cheating. Will Tommy Boy also have sense to do the same? Naw, why would he? He was a nobody who sold his soul for fame and fortune.

no. He just decided to pay 1 million, 1 1st rd. pick + 4th out of the goodness of his heart.

Ruining the reputation of the league would cost EVERYONE more than a million bucks and the 32nd draft pick.

I'm sure he got something in return.

Either that, or he was reminded by one or more of the other owners that horrible accidents sometimes happen...

Kraft probably did get something in return, like a reduction in Brady's penalty.

But he also no doubt saw he had little to no support from the other owners.

Patriots' Deflate-Gate Acceptance Won't Impact Brady Appeal: Goodell

The New England Patriots' decision not to fight its Deflate-Gate punishment won't impact Tom Brady's appeal of his four-game suspension, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters after the conclusion of league meetings in San Francisco, Goodell said he was "looking forward" to hearing Brady's response to the suspension. A report by investigator Ted Wells found that Brady probably knew about attempts to let air out of footballs before the AFC championship game.

"If there's new information, or information that can be helpful to us in getting this right, I want to hear directly from Tom on that," Goodell said.

Goodell said he hadn't yet considered demands from the NFL players union to recuse himself as arbitrator in the case, arguing that the commissioner himself will be a "central witness."

Patriots owner Robert Kraft said this week that he wouldn't not appeal Goodell's decision to strip the team of two draft picks and impose a $1 million fine.

Goodell said he admired Kraft's decision.

He also said the league had nothing to do with the Patriots' decision to suspend two assistants who were implicated in the Wells report as being part of efforts to deflate balls to Brady's preferences.

And Goodell said the league is now considering changes to rules for the 2015 season to prevent similar scandals.
So much for the Patridiots' argument that the NFL told the to release the Deflator and Jastremski.

Of COURSE he's going to deny it.

Sorry, but no one is going to accept anything as the truth anymore just because Bart Simpso...er, Roger Goodell said it...

Thanks for the link to the Pats' forum, their almost as delusionally entertaining as Deflaticus.

"It's almost comical how bad things have gone for Patriots' fans. I didn't think Kraft would pile on us too. I'm afraid of what's going to happen next."

Re: Seems like some powerful owners are on Goodell's side

why are the nutjob posters leaving the twilight zone and continuously posting in the billszone?

as for this story, it seems like kraft got the wrong PR info, then realized a court case would open him up to subpeona's and other things that prove the extent of their cheating.

they thought being loud would make them look defiant, but it made them look like delusional petulant children. and they know by not just admitting it up front, they've made it a huge expense to have the investigation, and that the other owners aren't interested in spending more on this.
