And for the clowns that want to blame that all on Idzik: Ryan was 8-8 in 2011 & 2012 with a roster loaded with talent and a QB better than anything currently on the Bills roster.

He IS NOT a good coach.

Marrone got a less talented team with no QB to 9-7. You idiots all feel butt-hurt because he walked out on you. Maybe HE was the smart one.

    Facts are facts.
Sanchez had far and away his best, and only, good season in 2011, but he was erractic and the team won and lost depending on whether he had a good game or not. He's nothing, but despite him, Ryan was able to take the Jets to the AFCCG twice his first 2 years. He's got far more talent now with the Bills.

As for Marrone, I said he was a bum back at the end of 2013. I'm ecstatic he acted like a moron and walked out. Best thing for a franchise on the rise. We won't miss his worthless offense, which was his alleged forte.

And I think ASSWIPER is the only person on this board that feels butt-hurt because Marrone walked.

The rest of us can't believe our good fortune that Marrone left of his own accord.

I was actually despondent at the end of the season knowing Marrone would be coming back and nothing would change (like at least firing Hackett). It couldn't have worked out any better and the Bills got the best HC available on the market (the coordinators are totally unproven).

At least both coordinators held the same title & position in the past.

Neither has been promoted to a higher position on the Bills than he held before.

Sorry, I meant to say that the coordinators who were hired as head coaches by other teams are totally unproven.

And Rex is calling his staff a team of All Stars.

If you compare the Bills Coaches under Rex to other teams Coaches, I don't think many can compare.

I trust Rex's offensive opinion as much as Jaurons.

On the other hand, when it comes to the offense, he was very hands off in NY and the Offensive Coordinators he hired there for the most part failed. Rex's success in NY was pretty much one-sided to the defensive side of the ball. Beyond the early safe conservative offense under Sanchez, the Jets offense was a train wreck. The rookie QBs did not progress much which could be a function of player evaluation or development or both.

If Rex's opinion was limited to the defensive side of the ball, that would be great, but Rex has no shortage of opinions.

Now Rex seems to be in love with Tyrod Taylor who quite frankly has shown nothing in his 4 years in the NFL.

Roman is an experienced OC, but many in San Fran believe it was the HC that was instrumental on the offensive side of the ball and not Roman.

So the question is -- Do You Trust Rex's Opinion on the Offensive Side of the Ball?
    No. I do not.

Rex is stacked at every position except the one that matters.

    QB.

EJ Manuel can't hit the broad side of a barn even if a magical genie granted him accuracy powers. Which would net him a 40% comp rate.

He's worse than useless. He's second string CFL material.

Yeah, I mean, more than my own opinion.

Now it is a 3rd string QB from Rex's mighty 4-12 Jets.

Doug should tell Rex to worry about what is already on the field rather than asking for more Jets retreads.

    Sure.

I too am appalled about how many Jets players have migrated to the Bills thus far.

So far, I can count three off the top of my head, including Matt Simms, who is a long shot to make the team. He's STILL a 3rd-string QB...more like 4th string now, but who can really blame you for being upset, princess?

Can you name two more Former Jets players the Bills have picked up this offseason without your friend Google?
