Wait for Claude. 1 cup, 3 times a head coach. A winner.

I'd be pissed with Torts or Bylsma.

Bylsma isn't bad. Torts is tragic. Hitchcock might be coming available too.

As long as boucher leaves his 1-3-1 zone where he found it.

I hear ya but it only takes the other team so long to realize to attack the side without the d man making the fwd play D and the D trail the play.

Re: Post Babcock, whose your coaching choice now?

also the guys on SiriusXM NHL radio today threw out Dave Tippetts name as a good fit for the Sabres

    Tippett, Dave.jpg
    Dave Tippett
he could be out in the Desert, he didn't like what the Coyotes did at the deadline last year (tank) and he doesn't like what the Coyotes just did by firing their whole AHL front office and their coaching staff, Tippett is made out of the same mould as Babcock, some players say he might be a tougher coach than Babcock! expects 100% from his players every night but hasn't really had any good players except Shane Doan out in the Desert.

tougher than babcock? babcocks intensity is allegedly what turned off free agents from signing with the red wings last summer. do we really want a guy who might be so tough on players that it makes players reluctant to sign with buffalo, when players are already reluctant to sign with buffalo?
