Yes, we DO know Jack. But it's not all about Mr. Eichel!
Round 2, #51: Brendan Guhle, D, Prince Albert(WHL). 6'2"/185 THN's draft preview put him #70 overall; "Great skater and all-around athlete coming into his own."

"We've got a lot to cover. The good news is...I've got the time and I ain't going anywhere." -CM Punk, AEW Rampage, 8/20/21
"I see things in black and white and I have a zero tolerance policy for ****ty people." -Jon Moxley, AEW Dynamite, 1/6/21
Turns out that Guhle knows Mark Pysyk(as they're both Albertans); they were on the ice the other day. And Guhle had raves for the area, too.

Too bad Jordan Greenway went one pick earlier he would have been a better pick
Oh, and THIS should be MOST interesting...

Round 4, # 91: William Borgen, D, 6'1"/189 (Moorhead HS-Minn.)
He's committed to St. Cloud State.

Borgen is the 2nd fastest riser in the draft - draft position skyrocketed in the last few months. HS senior - we won't see him for a long time
BTW, did I or did I NOT say that in the wake of Zadorov's dealing to Colorado in the ROR deal, we'd be restocking on D-men?
Also of note: A St. Joe's(and Buffalo Jr. Sabres)grad, Dennis Gilbert, gets drafted by the Blackhawks-he's a D with the USHL's Chicago Steel. He's committed to Notre Dame.

Round #5, #122: Devante Stephens, D, 6'1"/171 Kelowna(WHL) Not much points-wise, but great plus minus. It'll be a while before he's in the blue & gold.
Another local guy gets drafted...Joseph Cecconi, a D with the USHL's Muskegon Lumberjacks(and a Youngstown native)selected by Dallas at #133.
Round 6, #152: Giorgio Estephan, C, 6'/188 Lethbridge(WHL)
Final pick....Round 7, #182, Ivan Chukarov, D, 6'2"/190 (Minnesota Wilderness-NAHL)
Holy restocked the D batman
Restocked d - correct BUT the way the NHL draft is, we'll be extremely lucky if even 2 of them see the NHL. The nature of drafting 17-18 year olds. Smart though as most of our prospects are forwards. I would have liked to see them draft a goalie though
