Assuming that this is our number one line this year. What rounds out the rest of the group?
Moulson Ennis Rinehart seems pretty soft and ... Soft. But Girgs up? What do we do
ROR will center the 1st line. Eichel will either get the 2nd or 3rd line his first year. Kane - ROR - Ennis
Moulson ROR Ennis
Kane Reinhart Eichel
Foligno Girgensons Mcginn
Larson Legwand Gionta

I'm not sure Reinhart is ready to center the second line. He's more likely 3rd line at best. Girgensons and Legwand up. I also think we may have a FA RW coming in.
Reinhart is the type of player that distributes the puck.. put him with two highly skilled wingers and good things are going to happen.
Ask him to grind it out on the 3rd line... might as well put him in Rochester next year.

Point taken. I was thinking more about the pressure on young players put in top six situations. I think getting quality NHL minutes with better matchups, especially at home, is a good idea for someone like Reinhart who needs more seasoning. I want to see if Larsson can replicate and improve upon his play from last season, too.
Dan Bylsma is amazed at the transformation. The coach has talked with Murray about potential changes since being hired last month, but the conversations were typically in hypotheticals. Now they’re real, and he loves it.
“We talked about Ryan O’Reilly two weeks ago, about the possibilities and what it would mean to our team, where players would play and combinations and trying to get out of me lineups,” Bylsma said. “We’ve been talking about this for a little bit, and it came to fruition.
“You get really excited right now when three weeks ago you looked at our roster and it looked a lot differently.”
Take Zemgus Girgensons, for example. Before the additions of O’Reilly and Eichel, he was the Sabres’ No. 1 center. When the season starts in October, he could be a second-line winger. Position changes are possible for centers Sam Reinhart, Johan Larsson and Cody McCormick, too.
There was only one spot Bylsma could commit to as he pondered lines.
“O’Reilly was the top-line center,” Bylsma said. “We’ll go there.”
