    Seabrook a Sabre?

Andrew Peters on Hockey Hotline today was going on about Seabrook and he thinks the Sabres should trade for him.

"He's got one year left @ 6m looks like Chicago won't be able to keep him as they are up against the cap, he can shoot right handed or left handed, he's won 2 Stanley Cups he will also fit right into the Sabres D and help these young kids."

I don't think we have enough to get for him. He'd be a nice add but at what expense? Unless the Blackhawks want one of 2nders.

Keep in mind the Hawks are entering cap hell.

I think Oduya or Martin who are already on the market and cheaper are better options. Seabrook is good, no doubt, but I can't see trading for him and then paying 6M / yr.

They have been going with the plan of keeping their 5 studs: Kane, Toews, Hossa, Seabrook and Keith. Everyone else is expendible. Which has worked out pretty well so far. I don't know if he leaves the windy city.
