Well Gibby found a way to over-manage and cool down the bats. It took playing Goins, Pennington and Navaro while leaving a .333 hitter in Collobello on the bench.
Can you imagine? Collobello gets a couple of hits including a HR on Tuesday and then Gibby rewards him by benching him for the next 2 games.
Smoak hit .204 last year. Is a career .225 hitter and now is batting .216. That is why Seattle cut him. I don't care if he catches the ball with his buttcheeks since you don't sacrifice offense at 1st base. Besides Collobello has been playing great D the past month at 1st base.
Gibby has no clue what he is doing and when we get in the play-offs he will be embarrassed. Just play the obvious line up you tool!
