All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Chandler sucks. He gets the Krusty brand seal of approval: he's not just good- he's good enough!
That fumble in the Toronto game sealed his fate.
If Chandler sucks, you must be smarter than the Patriots FO who were glad to scoop him up. And if that statement is true, I'd like to hear your language on TEs behind Clay..
The big tight end flashed early in his Patriots preseason debut, in which starter Rob Gronkowski sat out. He had three catches on four targets from Tom Brady for 40 yards with a touchdown.
Chandler missed the Patriots first two preseason games with injuries, but he showed how dominant he can be in his first real action in blue, red and silver. He should be a matchup nightmare with Gronkowski in the red zone.

I live in New England, and watched the Patriots/Panthers live last night.
NESN (the site you quoted) is the New England Sports Network, so they may be slightly biased. In terms of actually passing the eye test, the Patriots offense was absolutely dreadful for the entire first half, and Chandlers "dominant" performance consisted of hauling in a rainbow of a lob from Brady with 15 seconds remaining in the half for 6 points. For the rest of the half (and preseason) the Patriots offense has been non existent, Chandler included.
It's 2015, and it's Roger Goodell's NFL. Teams are going to score touchdowns, and QBs are going to throw touchdowns. It takes more than 1 TD catch over the course of a summer to be considered "dominant" in a league where Blake Bortles looks like a super star in Jacksonville.
Find the biggest fork you can and put it in the Patriots--they are done.

Chandler has pretty good hands and he's a large target. But he doesn't block, he's slow as molasses, and he doesn't get separation before or after the catch. I'm sorry to see him go but I'm fine with our upgrade this year (Clay) and hopefully next year,w e will draft a total package tight end, one who blocks, catches and can gain YAC.
pretty clear that romans offense absolutely requires blocking from the tes. thats why they paid all that money to clay bc he does both and why they are teaching their tes to be more maullers than pass catchers. as much as i liked chandler he simply is not that guy
