My point was that Revis was not "torched". Can't fault him for that TD. He was all over that pass. Evans got lucky when the safety took Revis out. There was good reason they had him cover our franchise player. It wasn't enough though.

I guess by torched, I was thinking of the bomb to Evans that sealed the second game. Evans had a horseshoe up his as on that one. And yeah, that was Losman so I was thinking of the wrong game.
As for that first game, sure, he was definitely targeted. Nine thrown his way, he defensed one. Only one deep pass and it was incomplete. The rest were classic Trent dinks and dunks. Seven completions, only three of which contributed in any manner in a scoring drive. Total yardage was just 62 yards of the 250 total by the Bills. Forced a fumble to stop a drive. Not bad for a rookie. The big gains came against Barrett on the other side.
Anyhoo, I think we can all agree that Darby has done pretty well for a rook too.

Darby's success really highlights for me how great Doug Whaley has been the last few years, and how totally foolish the people calling for his head a couple weeks ago are looking.
His only high draft busts are EJ and Kuandjio, but they're offset by finding some diamonds in the rough with Karlos, Seantrel, and Tyrod.
And the Shady-for-Kiko trade currently looks like Herschel Walker levels of lopsided.
