Is Fred Jackson a Hall of Famer?

His Bills jersey is already in the Hall of Fame when he became the first player in league history to compile 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards on kick
returns in a season (2009). He
has rushed for 7147 yards (counting his Sioux City and Rhein Fire stats ), still counting and he is in the class COREY
DILLON (8,061), GARRISON HEARST (7,885), STEPHEN DAVIS (7,234), CHARLIE GARNER (6,986), PRIEST HOLMES (6,692), FRED TAYLOR (6,356),
and RICKY WILLIAMS (6,354), ( possible future Hall of Famers? ), but closer to TERRY ALLEN ( 8,614) who's in the Hall.

He has a combined 83 touchdowns with the AFL and NFL, that's more than a number of players in the Hall. I think he has a legitimate shot to at least be
nominated for induction the same way they inducted Warren Moon in the Hall because of his combined CFL stats and NFL stats and Jim Kelly's USFL and NFL
stats, but may have to wait a while to get in. So the question, is he a legit candidate or not?

the fact that our own Thurman Thomas wasn't a first ballot hall of famer and that it took Jerome Bettis so long should tell you all you need to know

He's never even made the Pro Bowl, much less All-Pro.

I love Freddie as much as the next guy, but let's not be delusional.

Re: Is Fred Jackson a Hall of Famer?

He's a potential Wall of Famer, but more for his effort and contributions to the locker room and community. But he has zero chance of making the Hall of Fame. Unless you're talking about Coe College's Hall of Fame.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
                      It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

                        Pretty much this right here.
My wife told me that if I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, girls would find me VERY attractive.

                        MY WIFE SAID THAT!!!

Lehner's history. He just doesn't know it yet.

I love Fred just as much as anyone, but there's no way in hell he gets into the HOF unless he rushes for 2000 yards this year, next year and the year after.
