The schedule is against the 2 teams that were in the AFC Championship game, facing 2 of the best QBs in the NFL. Darius is out game 1 and possibly Shady too. Even if they lose both of these home games, there's no need to panic unless the team looks horrible in defeat & Tyrod shows he's not an NFL QB. On the other hand, if they play well against these two powerhouse teams and even get a victory out of 1 of the games, we're in for a pretty good season. The last thing I want to see is after 2 weeks all the anti-Rex and pro-EJ people demanding changes.

Then in week 3 they have to go down to Miami and try to get their 1st win against an improved Miami team.

And then back home against el Gigantes. They're not so tough anymore, but Manning can always pull one out of his ass and is 2-0 vs. the Bills. It's about as tough a start as I've seen in a while. Perhaps as far back as 2000: Titans, Packers, @Jets, Colts.

Except that AFC losses have been killing us. Going 0-2 in the conf with a Loss against the Pats and two home losses to start the season makes playoffs all but impossible.

Defenses can do well against Luck however it still requires the Bills to outscore them. Indy fans chalk up the Bills as a W and fans of other teams chalk up the Bills into the "chump" column until proven otherwise.

The only chance the Bills have to make the playoffs is simple...

3 ways the Bills make the playoffs.

1. Super surprise play at the QB position. which allows running game to happen that leads to further passing ops.

2. Tannehill regresses. The Fins are poised to really go for the division. Oline isssues not unlike Buffalo but they have a dominant front on D and decent DBs.... even if they aren't decent now... Suh, Wake, & company scare the crap out of me.... Could be checkdown city.

3. Brady has a stroke. Ok kidding here burt I don't see us winning the east... I see us finishing 3rd.

true, it is pretty harsh if we do lose the first two....but we haven't played a down. someone should be in a thread that says, "don't go counting on the superbowl if we are 2-0", ""1-1 and can either way", and "0-0-2 was weird, but we're still in this thing"

It is highly possible the Bills start 0-3, it is a sure bet that most people here will be having fits if that happens.
