Harvin, Woods, & Clay only saw 9 targets today.
Either they completely over rated and aren't getting open or the QB can't find the open WR.
At bare minimum, these 3 guys were suppose to be studs, yet week after week they barely contribute.

Clay leads the team in receptions, yards, receiving TDs, first downs, and plays of 20+ yards. He's contributing.

I don't think Woods or Harvin are dominant WRs, but they can make plays when given the opportunity. Hopefully Watkins can become our OBJ..
Clay is 7th in the league at Tight End for both catches and yardage. He's two catches away from being tied for 3rd in receptions at his position.
Percy Harvin is doing alright and has made some clutch catches.
Dunno who ever said Woods was supposed to be a stud? He's more of a complimentary player.
The thing we missed most today was the running game. This whole team would look a lot different with a healthy McCoy. Watkins being in there opens up opportunities for other receivers as well. We missed him today.
I wouldn't go around complaining about stats after a win, either.
I think TT should look more often in Woods direction.
I am sure, if Woods played in NE he would put up better numbers than Welker.

Overall, Clay remind me of Vernon Davis, both good Vernon Davis and bad Vernon Davis.

I don't think it's the players. At least those three players.
It's the game plan and the QB trying to (or failing at) carrying it out.
Only 9 targets? Well if they could have made a couple of first downs in the first half, those three would have seen a lot more targets.

The Bills had 100 passing yards. Tyrod had zero time on about 90% of his drop backs. I wouldn't call any of them over rated.
Until the Bills can find a way to shore up the O-line and give the QB time to throw, this is going to be the norm.

Harvin is useless without Watkins playing opposite him. Might as well free cap and use Goodwin who is cheaper.
Until those guys get a real QB their stats will suffer.
Throw Watkins into that mix too.

Clay didn't do much yesterday but he's still played really well this season.
Harvin was supposed to be the 3rd WR and he and Tyrod have had some success. Overall both are good pickups.
Woods has been disappointing this year.

Woods did throw some great blocks on two of TT's big runs.

Poor O-Line play is a league wide problem. There is a trend in the NFL that values most other positions & units (dline, db) higher than oline and as a result there's less money spent. Most oline play in NFL is subpar. This problem isn't unique to the Bills.
So how do other team combat thier poor oline issue?
They get rid of the ball right away! The game plans today are similar to the way the Pats beat the Seahawks in the SB and the way the Giants beat our pasting.
This season, Eli Manning is getting the ball out on average 2.2 seconds!
So what can Bills do about inferior oline?
Do what everyone is doing to them & get ball out in under 2.5 sec.

I've never thought Woods was supposed to be a stud (I mean, he's from USC), and Harvin is a versatile guy who was never meant to be a #1 WR. As for Clay, certainly seems like he should be seeing some more targets given what they paid him.
Really hope our other guys can return soon. Hard to watch this offense without Watkins, McCoy, and K. Williams.

Having Watkins and McCoy back will be critical. Everyone we have at skill positions without them is a #2 (or worse)--great role players, but none really require defenses to adapt to them specifically. You need that one guy that requires a double team/special treatment in order to create imbalances and match up problems. Yesterday was a perfect example of that: we didn't do a damn thing until Tyrod got the green light to run, and all the sudden the defense couldn't play us straight up anymore, as they had to account for him running. And then we see a 45 yard pass completion etc because the safeties couldn't cheat.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?
Let's just tell the truth -- the problem is Tyrod. How many balls Tyrod threw between the numbers yesterday? He's missing them and may have lost confidence there. When the defense knows you are throwing to the outside only, and quite often only one side of the field reads, it's a lot easier to defend.
Both the Giants and Titans were crowding the line, covering the outside two weeks in a row. I'm expecting Cinci to deploy a spy on Tyrod next Sunday, so maybe one less coverage guy.
By the way, if you watched Cinci this year, one of main reason they are 5-0 is the health and play of TE Eifert (6'6", 250lb) who's been putting up huge numbers in the middle and opening up things outside for Green and Company. I have no doubt the Bills have the same vision with Hravin/Watkins outside and Clay in the middle. Right now there is no middle passing game to speak of. Looks like it will have to be Tyrod's legs to do the trick. Next two opponents, Bengals and Jaguars, have quality LBs and safeties. Hope Tyrod stays healthy after those two games, if he indeed uses his legs more.

Clay was invisible yesterday but for the most part has been contributing.
Harvin is an injury away from the hot tub but has been decent when targeted.
Woods is the disappointing one. Hardly a star player but certainly better than what he's done so far this year.
Of course there's blame to pass to Taylor. He hasn't been exactly lighting it up. He has 2 good games, vs one average and 2 ****ty ones.
