All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Maybe NFL Teams Will Learn From Jim Harbaugh's Punting Mistake
My call is to punt using a punter that is one of the top 32 in the world and is not using a 'rugby' type punt which forces the punter to catch the snap and start running before kicking it. It's the smart play, no matter what happens in college.

I would put my quarterback in shotgun, have him roll out to burn a few seconds and then have him throw the highest arcing pass ever seen on a, "Hail Mary Rainbow," deep to the endzone.

Incomplete, clock expires, Bills win.
A QB sack is 1,000 times more likely than a fumbled snap on a punt. Especially when the defense is not defending for a hail mary, they're defending for a 4th and 2.

If a QB takes the snap and launches the ball as high as possible in less than 2 seconds, he's not getting sacked.
Stack the line, max protect, snap, throw, game over.
Re: Maybe NFL Teams Will Learn From Jim Harbaugh's Punting Mistake
I'm ok with the idea of going for it, but they should in no way be running a pass play. I'd say run some kind of sweep play to the field side to burn as much clock as possible. If he converts, great. Game over. If he doesn't, MSU has one play for a hail mary.
