    Geno=EJ

    Both start to play well when way behind & the pressure is off. Once the pressure is back on they revert to being mistake prone. The QB class of 2013 is a disaster & I blame Buddy Nix for not seeing it & planning for it. Successful GMs look at multiple years and don't force a pick in any given year. Bad GMs box themselves and their teams into a corner. You can't draft as if you will never draft again. If the position is bad in a given year, you make due with what you've got & don't reach. This isn't hindsight-I started a thread before the 2013 draft that there may not be a QB in the draft worth taking.

    ejs high character and work ethic will likely keep him in the league a long time as a backup. geno is a dumb as melba toast punk whose likely gonna be brought up on charges for something a year from now

    2013 will go down as the worst QB draft ever.

    I agree 1,000%. When EJ plays like he has nothing to lose, he plays so much better. Also the lesser he thinks, the better.

    At least recognize the Jets were smart enough to have Smith back-up Ryan Fitzptrick. Where half the stupid Bills fans were calling for MAnuel to start at the end of training camp.

    The Bills drafted Manuel to replace Fitzpatrick.

    Maybe it isn't all Nix's fault. Could it be the really idiot in the EJ pick is still here ?

    Re: Geno=EJ

    EJ is much better then geno. EJ is much better then cassel.

    EJ just makes 1 or 2 fatal flaws a game.

    but overall results not just W/L its not even close take the blinders off

    i watched both jets and cowboys games yesterday they are both horrific every play not just a specific (WTF was that play) and could hope to get to 3/4 of what EJ is

    all this being said derek carr is a stud in the making why we didnt grab him is beyond me

    Sure he is-they just don't play in the NFL.

    I'm not sure if Fitzpatrick starts the season in NY without IK doing his best Mike Tyson impression

    At this point, it's gotta be '07 with Jamarcus Russell at #1 overall and Brady Quinn at #22. The best quarterbacks from that year are...drum roll please...Trent Edwards and Kevin Kolb. Tyler Thigpen gets and honorable mention.
    Lehner's history. He just doesn't know it yet.

    I found my post from 1/1/13 where I compared the upcoming 2013 draft to 2007, 2002 & 1996 horrible draft years for QBs. It's not like people were comparing 2013 to 1983.

    During the Georgia Florida game, they showed the quarterback squad for Miami in 1983: Kelly, Kosar, Testaverde and Georgia coach Mark Richt. Holey smokes.
