Bills sign TJ Barnes, Lavar Edwards, and Kevin Reddick

I like the Barnes and Reddick moves

Barnes is signed to the 53 from the Jets PS and Edwards is signed to the 53 from Dallas PS

    Lot's to like here:
Barnes is a huge DT at 6'7" 365
Barnes coming off the Jets PS knows the current Jets system and we face the Jets again still
Edwards was a 5th rounder by the Titans in 13 and knows the Dallas system who we face still
Reddick played well in the preseason and knows our scheme. He should be able to play right away. I really liked him.

Great, he should do well in drop coverage.

I wonder if the Bills put in a claim for Quinton Coples? The Dolphins were only 2 spots ahead of the Bills and got him off waivers. He would have been a nice addition with all the injury issues we're having on the DL now.

Looks like King Kong. Plays like Fay Wray.
Seriously, what good is a guy whose only asset is his size when he is not strong?

I don't think there are any Ted Washington type players available right now.

I dont disagree. Just pointing out that there is no reason to be impressed with this guy because of his size.

    Fully agree.

I was just pointing out that he is especially massive though. Not easy for guys that tall to play nose tackle.

Well, he could be a great athlete for his size like, um, Michael Jasper.

Actually he is reputed to be relatively light on his feet for a big man, unlike MJ if memory serves. And it's apparently not the case that he totally lacks athleticism. His bench was disappointing though given his frame and the requirements of the position he plays.
