    Re: Tank on!

Evander Kane hasn't been a Top 6 guy for at least 2 years arguably longer... is he ever going to start earning the money he is making..

And yep another winger is needed for Eichel...

We need a legit RW and this draft has three of them in the top 5.

The top 6 is comparatively fine. Ennis not being useless would solve a lot of the problems in the top 6. An upgrade over McGinn would be nice, as is another winger for Eichel. But compared to the trash that rounds out the bottom half of the forwards right now? Yeah, it's fine.

And yeah, I'm counting Gionta as a bottom 6 player because that's where he belongs. He needs to get the hell away from Eichel.
So then you are admitting that the top 6 is really only 4 players: O'Reilly, Eichel, Kane and Reinhart. Half of which are under-producing offensively. In fact, O'Reilly is really all this team has. Ask the goalies. They agree.

Where other than Buffalo could you hire a GM whose brilliant plan is to lose on purpose for the first 3+ years?

I'll give him credit and props for one thing... ROR!

the guy is a legit franchise piece and Colorado got absolutely hosed in that deal... Grigerenko and Zadorov.... lolz!

The Myers/Kane trade was a headline producing trade, but ultimately was meh for meh.

outside of that... tanking... the Lehner trade... Incompetence.

Ennis has a good reason; he's been injured for a decent amount of the season. Ditto Pysyk.

    3-8-(-9).

Swing and a miss. He's a large part of the losing.

Has Bylsma put Ennis on a line with Larson centering and McGinn on the other wing?

that would be an 3rd line I wouldn't mind taking a look at.

Wait, people actually think the sabres are tanking THIS season? Some people will twist anything to fit a narrative.

Technically, Ennis in there as well. 5/6. A lot of the top 6 problems will fix with Rhino and Eichel maturing. The talent is there in the top 6, it's just young and missing a winger.

Compared to almost the entire bottom 6.

Foligno in particular is completely worthless. He should be someone who can contribute 15-20 goals a year with some physical play.

Please name the years where they were the worse or 2nd worse team in the NHL for 3 years.

I am getting tired of your masturbation over 17 or 18 year old prospects.

At a certain point even an idiot realizes that even the best prospects mean crap if they are not developed correctly.

    The 76ers.

Also, I couldn't care less if you tire of my support of the rebuild. I tire of your trolling, but here we are anyways

You forgot to add this stat: 23 GP.

As I said before, Ennis has missed a decent amount of games.

You always take the top talent. Centers can easily move to wing.
Not exactly the same in hockey. All the offensive talent in the world doesn't help if there is no one to get them the puck with speed in space. See Oilers, Edmonton.

Many Leaf fans wish they would but when you are not the only entertainment in town you can't charge people $200+ for a ticket to see a team tank for a season.
