Omg if the Oilers won the draft lotto that would be nuts.

I like that list. Especially tkachuk. Sabres prospects thinks he would just for in extremely well with the sabres

    Quite frankly, I expected better.

I honestly felt that the addition of Eichel, O'Reilly, Kane, and Reinhart would help elevate the game of Ennis, Foligno, and a few of the other guys who have carried this team through the tanking.

Instead the opposite has happened. Those guys have gotten lazy, and the kids have produced.

This is why I don't like tanking.

    I believe losing begets losing.

Get rid of all of the players who thrive in a losing culture.

I expected us to suck this year when we started trading away starting quality players for peanuts last year in the attempt to get mcdavid. We gave up too much, and while i love eichel and think he'll be a star, he's no mcdavid.

best signing was for Ryan O; there are some parts there, but some of it~

My wife told me that if I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, girls would find me VERY attractive.

    MY WIFE SAID THAT!!!

For sure, some parts are already here, but murray has work to do, especially this summer. Still, I like seeing the baby steps the team is taking. But I'm hopeful next year will be a large leap.

If only the Sabres could ever lose to the Laffs.
Lehner's history. He just doesn't know it yet.

To be fair Ennis has been hurt and Lehner got hurt in the 1st game really put us at a disadvantage. Anyone watching this team should see that we're more talented than last year's squad but still have some holes on the D and missing a pure sniper. The future looks positive all things considered.

It's also worth noting that there isn't a single team in the league that is going to come anywhere close to our abysmal 54 points from last season. As of now, with almost 2 months left in the season, the lowest point total is 49. So we absolutely HAVE improved, but the rest of the league has as well.

The sabres have improved significantly, but you are correct, so have other teams.

It's very interesting that Maloney admitted they were trying to lose last year.
