All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

STL Rams sure thing to LA, SD Chargers have option to follow Rams.
Raiders have withdrawn from LA.
Seems odd, Raiders are the only team without a city proposal for the NFL, and are tied via contract with San Diego. Someone is going to get some money and a big promise here.
Reading that the Raiders will get a 9 figure consolation and a promise. Could be awesome news for Raiders fans, that 9 figures is huge to Davis in his situation, and huge to them in theirs.
I have no problem with St. Louis losing the Rams. It really is a baseball city and isn't rich enough to support a NFL team this century.
I kind of don't think SD cares enough either. Oakland, oddly, cares plenty but can't do a crap, or couldn't, though they might be able to now. It's interesting Davis was the only owner to attend the mandatory relocation town hall meetings, and talk to fans before, during and after. I wonder if Davis actually cares and managed to engineer this with Spanos, Kroenke and the NFL.
I don't even know that it's about rich enough, look at Green Bay. It shouldn't be rich enough to support anything.
As I'm sure you know, the Packers are owned by the city of Green Bay. Completely different ballgame there. They want funds for something, they sell stock.
Personally, I'm not cool with any city losing their team... Bills fans had that sword of Damocles hung over their heads for far too long. After that experience, I hate seeing any fan of any team being put in that position.
In fact, if had the Bills not been sold to the Pegulas, owners who are committed to the city of Buffalo, there's a very good chance that we could have been the ones talking about losing our team to Los Angeles today, instead of St. Louis. After the coin that Kroenke plunked down for a new stadium and paying the $550 million relocation fee in cash, there's no doubt in my mind that the $400 million "penalty" in the Bills' lease would have been chump change to an owner less committed to the city of Buffalo.
The Bills weren't going anywhere regardless of who bought the team. None of the parties involved would have plunked down over $2billion to buy the team and move it.

Yeah, I'll bet the city and fans of St. Louis thought the same thing... Right up until about 24 hours ago... In case you didn't notice, Kroenke did exactly that.

Kroenke is a non-factor regarding the Bills. Nobody involved with the sale of this team has a reported family net worth of over $12billion dollars. Pegula wasn't going to move it, period. Trump wasn't moving it. Despite the widespread fear, Rogers wasn't going to plunk down $1bil to move the team, hell they didn't even have the wherewithall or heart to put together a decent bid with Bon Jovi.
