Re: The Official Super Bowl 50 Gameday Thread

color me surprised. I watched both teams all year and thought this would be a cakewalk for Carolina. I guess i underestimated the broncos defense and overestimated the panthers offense. Thank god i'm not a betting man, cause if i was i would have lost my shirt over this one.
My wife told me that if I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, girls would find me VERY attractive.

    MY WIFE SAID THAT!!!

You know, I cannot grasp why anyone inflates and freezes their cheeks, shrinks their eyes by freezing their foreheads, and giving themselves overinflated wax lips while the results are just about everywhere that they can see and be horrified by.

Elway is looking damn lovely though aging without apology thought I never did like his damn grin.

His toothy grin is that much less not sincere than Ryan's, who is way more likely to botox himself and keep pasting that same stupid grin on his face. You think of him as Wrecks, I still think of him as Nicholson's Joker.

    The perfect ending for Peyton.

    The NFL wins, again.

What a year it has been. That was a fun ride.

The road to Super Bowl 51 starts tomorrow.

Houston, TX NRG Stadium, February 5th 2017.

I don't think Carolina will make it back to the Super Bowl any time soon.

Cam Newton went 18-41 for 265 yards and 1 pick in Super Bowl 50. His stats were padded in garbage time.

I think Tyrod Taylor would have had a better game.

Tyrod Taylor is faster than Cam Newton.

Most important of all is how Taylor is a lot more accurate as a passer.

Cam made some bad passes early in the game. No accuracy.

T-Mobile is also a lot more humble.

I gotta give Denver credit, they earned it the hard way.

I think people were overlooking the fact that Carolina is in a division with three cream puffs....kinda padded their W-L record.

OTOH, it seems that over the last few years, a team that gets hot in Nov and Dec can win it all.

Great game by Denver last night and all credit is due to them. That defense is incredible and their game plan had Newton confused all night long. I was disappointed in the way Newton handled his post-game press conference but he's young and he'll continue to learn. I expect Carolina to be in the thick of it next year again. Benjamin being back will help them a lot.

Newton gave his critics more ammo with his post game behavior. If you are going to be a showman when winning you need to stand up and take it when you lose.

The playoff run by Miller and Ware, plus the Broncos secondary play, will not be forgotten. That's how they won the Lombardi trophy. Outstanding.
