Lmao. I was at an Irish pub near my house in Baltimore when he came out and everyone in the bar booed him too.

The telling sign: nobody got booed but Tommy- boy and one other Patriot (Branch I think). Some people think the Patriots hate is just jealousy. Yeah? Well then why didn't the 70's Steelers or the 70's Dolphins or the 90's Cowboys or the recent Giants get booed? There were a lot of Panthers fans at that game- every single one of those teams and players has more rings than they do. If it were jealousy they would have booed them all.

But they only booed Brady. Why? Sports fans can handle losing- they can handle teams they don't like winning- when it's perceived as fair. They can't handle losing repeatedly to smug *******s who cheat.

I refused to watch any Super Bowl pre-game or any stuff leading up to the game.

I would have loved to have seen this though.

There were a lot of Denver fans in the stands and that's why the booing was so loud for Brady. I really didn't notice that Branch got booed, I'll have to review the broadcast.
For the record, I didn't boo Brady, but I laughed when I heard the boos.

I stumbled on this ceremony by accident. I don't get the Brady hate. He's right up there with Joe Montana. He's a better QB than many up there. And my favorite all-time was there - Roger Staubach. The QB that didn't look right there was Joe Flacco.

Well, that is why I think there is some kind of eternal justice in the world. Brady has the most rings of any QB (tied) and I think the most Super Bowl appearances.

I was so angry for years because it hurts me so much if somebody benefits from cheating. It seems so unfair and there is nothing you can do about it. And it looks like in that instance it is not true that everybody gets what he (she) deserves.

But it is true. Brady will always be remembered as a cheater. And there is nothing he can do about it.

Just imagine. Maybe he would have won one less Super Bowl without cheating but he might nonetheless be considered best ever, because his teams were so much less talented as the Steelers and 49ers.
Actually I think since he is very much interested in his own legacy I think he would like to trade one victory for being admired. But this is not possible anymore. He will have to live with the legacy of being considered a cheater and he will most probably be booed during his HoF induction. Just imagince that.

Compare that to Kelly. Kelly has no rings but they had to move the induction to the Fawcett Stadium with more seats because fans all over the country (ok, mostly people from Buffalo, but nonetheless) were flooding the ceremony and Hall of Fame building was just not going to work out. I am sure that Jim is a happy man (despite or just because of all the challanges he had to face) while it will always hurt Brady that many think that he is the beneficiary of cheating.

That makes me smile.

Really? You mean he did not care that he was (almost) the only one that was booed? I disagree. All people that work to be the best also want to be the best because of the admiration of others. Do you think he would work so hard when there were no fans in the stadium, no TV and no internet?
I dont think so. I think it will eat him from inside that he will be booed at his HoF induction.

Without knowing him personally it's impossible to say. He has literally everything else in life: family, friends, hot women, money, an insane mansion, fancy cars, fancy clothes, fame, money, professional success.

So, maybe he goes about his fancy life not caring that people don't respect him. Or, maybe he's so used to getting everything he wants that the one thing he can't get drives him insane: respect.
