    We don't need him in this D where the 300 lb. DL are the ones who are expected to cover guys 2X faster .

      Not overrated at all. He's close to a lockdown corner. If you wanna tell me 11 million is too much for a corner then that's another topic. But Gilmore is a very good player

      What this team needs are linebackers and a safety opposite AW.

        Of course he's overrated. People here think he's great...read the post above...Gilmore is referred to as a lock down corner.

        What he is, is an able bodied average NFL corner. Able bodied might be giving him too much credit as he's hurt constantly but when he's not hurt, he can play the position and he isn't a complete liability.

        Is he a guy that deserves 11m a year? Absolutely not. Is he a guy who is going to think he should command top 5 corner money? Again, absolutely not.

        However, he's still the best corner on this team and you should try and hold on to those type of players instead of creating more holes. That is not saying much because the corners behind him aren't anything to write home about.

          I actually said close to a lock down corner (you know as in still room to improve). But don't let proper reading and comprehension get in the way of your posting.
