Then why not call the tackle by the Pens D-man when the Caps were breaking out of the defensive zone?
And the Pens had 2 PP goals too. Sorry, but your conspiracy theory doesn't work.

I am glad Tampa faces the Penguins. I think it will be an easier win for Tampa.

And I LOVE my new BISH PLEASE shirt!!!
I was banned for calling Yardie a coward, by DB, in a tread about women’s issues happening right now in America. Nothing better than republican men silencing women’s voices, especially in the Buffalo Spin zone!!
As I'm sure you know, the playoffs are such a different animals. It's not common got a team to have multiple deep runs in a row. We've seen teams make the conference finals or deeper one year, only to "choke" the next year in the first or sometimes second round. Expectations for a deeper run may leave the caps conference semi final appearance disappointing, but at that point, it's really more of a toss up.
Plus the pens are such a good team.
St Louis to the conference finals. No matter what happens, a team with no cups will represent the west.
Good effort, Lindy. Lehtonen stunk up the joint.
Lehner's history. He just doesn't know it yet.
same old Lindy...playing his favorite players over other players on the team (just like he did when he was coach here with Sabres and which he did with Vanek and Pominville they were his two favorites players on this team he would always put them out on the ice if a goal was needed to tie up the game or win it on the PP or PK,) his defence first philosophy being stubborn while the other teams changed their systems Lindy kept his old defence first mentality coaching system, couldn't decide which goalie to play on which nights like he did here in Buffalo with Miller and burned him out.

So he couldn't decide which goalie to play and he decided to play Miller all the time?
You're so dense you contradict yourself in one sentence and don't know it.
BTW, the reason he played Vanek and Pominville in those situations was that at that time Vanek was a 30+ goal scorer and and a top 5 PP goal guy and Pominville was good for 25+.
Maybe they weren't good enough but they were better than the other players on the team.

Ummmm when Vanek and Pominville were here, who did we have that was better that Lindy should have used instead? I was never a fan of either one- as my posts from that time will clearly show- but statistically they were the best offensive players on the team and represented the best chance of scoring.
Btw, Lindy certainly wasn't perfect but I would have loved to see what he could do when he wasn't limited by ****ty management/ownership. Golisano never spent money and let the two best players on the team leave at the same time. Then Pegula tried to buy a championship.
It would be interesting to see Lindy here now with all the talent in the pipeline and money to get the right guys.

Why would he want to play the reigning Art Ross trophy winner when down in the 3rd? What an idiot!!
Stars also didn't have seguin. And he's pretty good
I think that not only was lindys voice growing stale in the locker room for buffalo, but buffalo was growing stale for lindy. I love lindy, but a decade and a half of the same nickel and dime bull**** from ownership despite promises to get the team over the hump, and the same tired core that was good, but never great..... how many times did regier have to touch that stove before he learned? I'm sure lindy grew tired of it as well.
I'd love to see what lindy could do today, though I like Bylsma alot. But it was time.
