Shaq Lawson was probably the 2nd best pass rusher in this draft. we're lucky for that should injury. he never would have made it to 19 without it. He was an absolute beast. I don't have an issues with taking him, he fills a need on the front 7 opened up by Mario's departure.

Heard him talking to John Murphy on radio after his selection. Said he had a shoulder injury his Freshman year and is fine. Has no idea what Schefter is talking about and swears he's 100 % Whaley said he takes Mario's spot opposite Hughes immediately. Fine by me.

he probably should have gone higher. he was a beast in college. No comment about the shoulder. those rumors clearly made him drop to us. Whenever I saw the kid on the field I thought top 10 pick in april. So I'm not disappointed in the least with this pick. Even if the shoulder ends up being an issue, i can live with it if it lands us a stud DE.

Absolutely love this pick!! I must admit, I really wanted Paxton Lynch w/ the pick, but I really don't think you can make that pick. Lawson has a boat load of potential, and IMHO, he was the best defensive end on the entire board. We got VERY lucky that he slid to us!

BTW, to compare him to Aaron Maybin is just silly. I realize, as Bills fans, we are ingrained to think negatively, but in no way shape or form, is this a logical comparison.
