All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

That's without the microfracture surgery.
COMING SOON...

I know that there's strategy and gamesmanship, but if someone is leaking out misleading info on this kid in efforts to get them to fall to their team, then there is a special place in hell for them. If it is in fact true, I have to feel for the kid. He is (or was) a great athlete and will have a lifetime of "what could have been" to relive in his head over and over.
In my experience with physical therapy, any type of nerve damage is very unpredictable. So I'm not sure that I would say that Smiths injury is less of a concern. With Jack, it depends on where the meniscus tear is really. Once that thing wears away, it's gone because cartilage can't heal. Micro fracture surgery is risky as well, see Greg Oden. Both are concerning.

The Pats today can gamble with Jack and Smith on their 1st 2 days picks. The Bills of 1987 could gamble with Thurman Thomas. not the 2016 Bills. There is a time and place for this kind of stuff. I'd much rather they gamble on a QB right now.
I'm not sure he'll be there when the Bills pick, but I could see TE Hunter Henry being a possibility. We haven't really talked about TE, but there's questionable talent/depth behind Clay and Clay has some health concerns. It sounds like Henry is a great run blocker and can also make plays in the passing game. Considering Roman likes to use 2 TEs maybe it's more of a need than we think and Henry could provide good value.
2nd round nono's to me are RB, QB, WR. DB's come into play.
3rd round and down, no RB's. After that anything goes.
I'm not going to throw out any names today, there's still too much talent at the related positions for me to get too upset outside my personal nono's. I won't get upset if they roll the bones on Jaylon or Jack without trading up. Maybe not even if they do trade up depending on what they give up, needs to not be much though.
I'd be all over G Whitehair if he was there, don't think he will be, same for DT's Billings, Robinson or Reed. At this point I think the BPA list at their normal spot should be just dandy.
We're going to have a shot at one of these guys...
LB Myles Jack
LB Reggie Ragland
DT A'Shawn Robinson
DE Kevin Dodd
TE Henry Hunter
DT Chris Jones
G Cody Whitehair
DT Jarran Reed
OLB Jordan Jenkins
DE Emmanuel Ogbah
NT Andrew Billings
OT Le'Raven Clark
DE Noah Spence
CB Mackensie Alexander
NT Austin Johnson
LB Su'a Cravens
OT Shon Coleman
OT Jason Spriggs
