Adrew Billings. Steelers were high on him. Gotta believe Whaley is too (from the same mindset).

Indeed they were. Here's their fan site - blasting CIN for taking CB Jackson, then astounded at the Artie Burns pick.

If Lynch were there, I have no doubt he would be the 2nd round pick even though he is rated lower than many other players. Now that Lynch is gone, I think the Bills go immediate help mold and I think Billings would be a day 1 starter as well. Dareus, Billings, (Kyle) Williams. Lawson, Brown, Brown, Hughes will be our starting 7 against Baltimore.

    Re: Day two

Noah Spence is my favorite remaining prospect, but I'm assuming he would play the same position as Shaq or Jerry Hughes, so I don't know that they would even take him if available. If they go DL I think Chris Jones would be my top choice.

If I had to guess though, I would put my money on Cravens being the pick. I could also see them taking WR Michael Thomas.

#NFL med source tells me Myles Jack knee more troubling in some ways than Jaylon Smith. While Smith's heals in time, Jack's deteriorates.

    That's without the microfracture surgery.

I know that there's strategy and gamesmanship, but if someone is leaking out misleading info on this kid in efforts to get them to fall to their team, then there is a special place in hell for them. If it is in fact true, I have to feel for the kid. He is (or was) a great athlete and will have a lifetime of "what could have been" to relive in his head over and over.

In my experience with physical therapy, any type of nerve damage is very unpredictable. So I'm not sure that I would say that Smiths injury is less of a concern. With Jack, it depends on where the meniscus tear is really. Once that thing wears away, it's gone because cartilage can't heal. Micro fracture surgery is risky as well, see Greg Oden. Both are concerning.

The Pats today can gamble with Jack and Smith on their 1st 2 days picks. The Bills of 1987 could gamble with Thurman Thomas. not the 2016 Bills. There is a time and place for this kind of stuff. I'd much rather they gamble on a QB right now.

    Re: Day two

I'm not sure he'll be there when the Bills pick, but I could see TE Hunter Henry being a possibility. We haven't really talked about TE, but there's questionable talent/depth behind Clay and Clay has some health concerns. It sounds like Henry is a great run blocker and can also make plays in the passing game. Considering Roman likes to use 2 TEs maybe it's more of a need than we think and Henry could provide good value.

    Re: Day two

If we stick with DL , I would like a player who can play both 3-4 and 4-3 in case Rex is gone next year and we end up with a 4-3 D under the next HC.

    Re: Day two

My 1st round nono's were QB, DB, WR, RB.

2nd round nono's to me are RB, QB, WR. DB's come into play.

3rd round and down, no RB's. After that anything goes.

I'm not going to throw out any names today, there's still too much talent at the related positions for me to get too upset outside my personal nono's. I won't get upset if they roll the bones on Jaylon or Jack without trading up. Maybe not even if they do trade up depending on what they give up, needs to not be much though.

I'd be all over G Whitehair if he was there, don't think he will be, same for DT's Billings, Robinson or Reed. At this point I think the BPA list at their normal spot should be just dandy.
