Sean Kugler was our OL coach and left to become HC at UTEP. Great guy. We signed his son, a Center from Purdue who has a legit shot. He's pretty good.

    Re: Undrafted Free Agents

Justin Zimmer is really put together, DII player 13 sacks and 25 tfl's last year as a DT.

Regional combine numbers are impressive to say the least:

    height 6' 2"
    weight 302

    40 time 4.91
    10 yard split 1.69
    vertical 33
    broad jump 9' 9"
    shuttle 4.42
    3 cone 7.09
    bench reps 44

Had he been a Combine invitee, he would have placed at the top in 4 categories and near the top in most others.

    That's pretty feeble.

I don't mind saying Gronkowski interests me for the bloodline, and being a better FB/TE hybrid than we have. At face value he'll probably be a better FB than Felton, cheaper, can actually catch, and probably a better TE than anyone we have not named Clay who can actually block too, and even catch.

Felton's not really a FB. He's a pulling guard that lines up in the backfield.

I trust Roman in the running game, he made a nice chicken salad last season.

Striker is an interesting get. I thought he was draftable and just so you all know, I'm one hell of an interweb GM.

A side note: The Rams have 5 rookie WR's and a total of 13 on their roster. Sheesh.

44 bench reps? Holy mackerel! Yeah I am interested in watching this guy play in the preseason. With those measurables and stats I'm surprised no one took a 7th round flyer on him.

Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
