All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

it was no secret Dallas was looking for a QB going into this draft... Cook was selected to be selected, not because Jerry doesn't like Terry, and was trying to decrease the value of his franchise by not allowing him and the war room to select a QB he had passed on over and over again
I was delighted with Lawson, think he was the best DE available, most solid, fewest drawbacks, didn't think he'd be there.
you said it DE but he will be playing linebacker at 268 ibs, thats what scares me, the bills always think they are smarter than everyone else, draft a guard make him a tackle, draft a DE make him a linebacker and it never seems to work. Jerry Hughes was forced to play Linebacker in the 3-4 at indy and he got run out of town, the bills let him be a pure pass rusher that's why the success in Buffalo. all's we can do is wait and see.

I'd imagine that Lawson will be playing knuckles down a fair number of snaps. And it's not unusual for a hefty LB to be on the field in a 3 -4. PGH's James Harrison did that for years to good effect.
I'm not comfortable having someone on the field as a "pure" pass rusher. They can become the fall guy on screens and draws, end-arounds, pitch-outs. I'm personally partial to cornerback and safety blitzes.
With the rules favoring the pass attack, defenses have tried to increase interior pressure to hurry the qb into quick pass decisions - which aid coverage.

Well yeah but it's not really linebacker in Ryan's defense. It's not a traditional Fairbanks-Bullough 3-4. As they've even said it's more a 5-2.
He might as well call it a 7-0, because I doubt even Wrecks knows who is rushing the passer, clogging the run lanes, or dropping into coverage half of the time.

I'd take him at if there every time, except if I knew he'd get injured, then I'd draft someone else. Looking ahead I'll say that about all the players I liked in this draft. Well, to clarify, I'd take them every time, except if they'd become injured, proved to have and/or develop substance addictions, or eventually involve themselves in events necessitating legal address and/or corresponding sanction, or prove deficient and/or incapable in performing their required duties as directed by coaching/play process also referred to as staff/job performance responsibility.
This includes forms of mental hospital admission, and/or outpatient treatments relating to any of the aforementioned circumstances noted above.
As far as the shoulder goes, I'm moving on and hoping Bills brass knew/knows what they were getting into and ate making decisions for what's best for the team in the long run.
How would Nkemidichie look now ? At least he could actually play.
Might look good now but if he gets hurt next week doing something you'd evidently have to eat your words. Run,avoid this treacherous carousel of speculation before you recommend a player who gets hurt !
