Edmonton to Buffalo: Hall, Nugent-Hopkins, Reinhart, 4th overall
Ha. I told him never going to happen. I would be elated if that were to happen, but that would be giving up too much for Edmonton.

I don't believe there is any merit to that rumour simply because it is so lopsided in Buffalos favour
Edmonton not moving yakupov is what makes it so hard to believe to be remotely true. they'll move their producing #1s but they won't move yakupov? might as well through mcdavid into the trade category.
And your letting this guy date your daughter. You should be nervous.

I actually heard the same rumor. I dismissed it immediately. But I do believe girgs might be traded.
I've seen variations of rumors with Edmonton. Always Pysek, but usually Eberle.

I've looked at various NHL and Sabres boards the last few weeks. I cannot discover where I heard the following admittedly ridiculous scenario, but it supposedly comes from some guy in Finland:
Sabres are going to trade for the rights to negotiate with Stamkos.
Sabres have the inside track to sign Vesey.
Sabres trade Samson (no!) + Pysyk (he may have said McCabe, I can't remember) + #8 to Edmonton for Taylor Hall + #4.
Sabres trade #4 + unnamed assets to Columbus for #3 in order to take Puljujarvi.

I think you're giving Tampa too much credit... he would post info that any Sabres fan could fairly easily assume "Ryan Miller cant wait for the deadline to be over and done with so he doesn't have to worry about where he will be playing " Darcy Regier is on the hot seat"
Even though Skooby is wrong most of the time at least MMD(Skooby) gives players names and specific scenarios " Jairus Byrd will be traded at the draft" "The Bills will sign Kevin Kolb tomorrow"

I heard that GMTM is going to trade with the Las Vegas Black Nights for the rights to all their picks in the upcoming expansion draft.

As much as I think very highly of Sam Reinhart I don't hate this... Adding Hall and Puljujarvi to play the wing..And still have EIchel.O reilly and Girgensons to play center
And I wouldn't hate it if I'm a Oilers fan... Get Halls salary off the books... McDavid and Reinhart as the Top 2 centres going forward.. Draisatl plays with McDavid... Pysyk could be a decent No.5 defesnemen for them... And likely get one of the top 3 defensive prospects with the No.8 overall pick

I'm not on Facebook, so I usually miss that sort of thing. I just checked it out. This is his most recent speculation:
The Sabres would be likely offering Tyler Ennis or Zemgus Girgensons along with 2 third round picks and the 2017 first round pick. If the Sabres make the trade happen which is a 50/50 by the way, The odds of them taking Oulun Kärpät's RW Jesse Puljujärvi are very high
Comments were mixed: I do that trade. I'd rather trade Ennis and keep Girgs.
Yes, I can see how it makes sense for both teams. For me, Samson, ROR, Eichel, and Risto are untouchable, but if one of them isn't, it's Samson.
I couldn't pull the trigger, but I won't think GMTM is an idiot if he does.

I think Kane is somewhat underrated, actually, and it would take a great deal for me to consider trading him. He's just slightly on the other side of the impossible to trade line for me.
I thought that too. But when you add yet another instance of potentially serious (the "abusive" part) off-ice behavior, this guy is starting to become a ticking time bomb.

I wasn't sure how much credence to give all that. Is it an angry ex just going off -- but I agree, it's concerning.
It's bad that for various reasons, Kane and Zemgus seem to be reducing their trade value.
If it was isolated, I wouldn't give it a second thought. But it seems like a bit of a pattern developing. I think it might be wise to deal him now for a player of equal value before he does something to make himself untradeable.
