    Re: 2017 QB Watch List

I'll add QB Alec Morris of North Texas to this list.

He is an Alabama graduate transfer who stands at 6'3, 233.

He neve really played at Bama, but has gotten good reviews from Sping Ball out of Denton. His Head Coach is Seth Littrell and his OC Graham Harrell. Both played under Mike Leach at Texas Tech and will be implementing a similar system at UNT. Harrell was a record setting QB who should be able to go some nice things with Morris this year.

He's a true sleeper because there is limited film on him.

I admit I'm still having pipe dreams of The Chad though I can't see any way it happens.

I will say this though, in keeping with my theory that a QB has to have a good QB name, there are some outstanding potential names out there for 2017. This is the best QB name crop I've seen in years.

Political correctness ( or cancel culture as it is called today) is a doctrine fostered by a delusional ,illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by MSM which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Not relative to the thread, but the freshman in Texas (Beuchel)(sp?) is somebody to keep an eye on the next couple of seasons.

Good pedigree. Dad was an 11 year MLB 3rd baseman who set the record for best fielding percentage in a season (.991) with Texas. Known for his big arm. Figures that the kid can launch the ball. He does look very good.
