Yeah, two legendary coaches die on the same day. Sad day.

Coached the Eagles when I lived in Philly.
Fun to watch.
RIP Coach.
I'll always remember him for punching Kevin Gilbride in the face when they were both in Houston.
I'm kinda surprised he only did it once because when Gilbride was our OC, I wanted to punch him in his fat head at least 5x a game.

Buddy going to rig the superbowl for the bills and his boys. From heaven. So blessed.
RIP. Ran the greatest D ever with the 1985 Bears.
Best wishes for Jim, Rex and Rob. Losing your father is the worst.
Condolences to the Ryan family.

I remember when Buddy was training horses.

RIP
Great coach, not sure he was such a great guy though. Anyway, still Rex and Rob's dad so they must be going through hell right now.
Buddy was meaner than a junkyard dog, more ornery than a starving grizzly defending cubs, crustier than the wreck of the Titanic, more vicious than Nicky Minaj on too little sleep, more colorful than an explosion at a crayola factory, saltier than the Dead Sea, crankier than Wagoncircler trying to quit smoking, more relentlessly merciless than Spartacus when he's actually correct, and funnier than Chappelle in his prime.
If the Ryan brothers gained some afterlife support, and I doubt they did because Buddy would head straight to Gilbride or Ditka's house to haunt then from past aggravation, it won't be a fluttering spirit of peaceful guidance and gentle encouragement. He'll wake them with shrieks in the night over bad defense, "what the HELL did I ever tell you" written on the mirror, poke opponents in the eye with an ethereal finger, drain helmet mike batteries for division enemies, and trip opposing coaches from the shadows as they come up the tunnel.
A true defensive genius, colorful man, and fierce competitor.
RIP Buddy Ryan if you can. I think he'll get bored with it quick.
Buddy is the mentor of the 46 defense which a lot of defense rose from that 46, the Tampa 2 is a version that came from the 46 . Buddy was a pioneer when it comes to D-cord but didn't fair well as a head coach, RIP Buddy maybe you can throw down a few hail Mary's on our beloved Bill's this year because we are gonna need it.

They already did that. Earlier in the year, Rex said something about Buddy getting older and not feeling so well, so he was in a hurry to make him happy this year while it could still be appreciated. I'm not sure Rex needs to motivate anyone though as opposed to actually coaching them to accomplish some cohesive effect that other teams can't slice and dice.
unless TT takes that next step I don't see our offense getting much better, sorry but we have added nothing too the offense except the young running back out of Arkansas who could end up being the steal of the draft. but he will be fighting for carry's with the other 2 guys. Defense should be a little better but the question is did the Bills do enough to gain ground on the others a head of them and what about the Jets and Fin's who seemed to get better on both sides of the ball, it will be another crap shoot this year and I can't help but believe that we go 7-9 at best because of our schedule.
