All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Komarov was Buffalo's fifth-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft
Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Sabres have signed another prospect from their 2022 NHL Draft class, inking defensemen Vsevolod Komarov to his three-year entry-level contract.
Komarov was Buffalo's fifth-round selection (134th overall) in this past year's draft after playing his draft year in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with the Quebec Remparts.
The Russian-born blue liner put up 39 points (12+27) in 69 games this past season for the Remparts, plus eight points (1+7) in 18 playoff games. The 6-foot-2, 182-pound defenseman helped Quebec to a QMJHL championship win over the Halifax Mooseheads and an appearance in the CHL Memorial Cup.
The 19-year-old still has one year remaining of eligibility playing in the QMJHL before he's able to make the jump to the pros.
Komarov is the fifth member of the Sabres' 2022 NHL Draft class to sign his entry-level contract, joining first-rounders Matthew Savoie, Noah Ostlund, and Jiri Kulich, along with third-round pick Viktor Neuchev.
The Amerks will release the 2023-24 schedule in early July. However, they have released 5 guaranteed home dates:
-Friday, Nov. 24th(AKA Black Friday)
-Friday, Dec. 22nd
-Friday, Dec. 29th
-Sunday, Feb. 18th
-Sunday, March 24th

Rumor going around that Dahlins extension is done, just waiting until July 1 to put pen to paper.
The rumor is 8/10 for 80
puts him 3rd in AAV behind Doughty and Karlsson but ahead of Makar and Fox. Probably pretty close to market providing it wasn't a fluke year. Personally I don't think so but that is they only way you get burned out of this contract I think.

I think once the flat cap era passes, it'll be a very solid deal
