Bjork and Lazar are similar except for their respective draft positions. Lazar was a 1st rounder and Bjork was a 5th. I expected a 2nd rounder and a mid/upper-level prospect for Hall. Meh.
They're 4-3 since the 18th consecutive loss. I'll take it.
It's amazing what a hockey coach and good goaltending can do.
Ullmark will not be traded and is interested in an extension.

Good for us but why would he want to stay? He's good enough that there will be interest elsewhere and this org is such a dumpster fire.
Ullmark has NEVER been an unrestricted free agent, He will certainly test the market and see what his options are.
He's been Buffalo's bright spot this season and that's a real accomplishment considering.
There is a real need for goal tending and his play will have his agents phone buzzing this off season.
Unless the Sabres give him something like a $6m AAV for (5) years he won't sign before testing the market.
Thatcher Demko just signed a $5m for (5) year deal.
Ullmark has earned $6m during his NHL career so far and he's 27 years old. He's going to cash in.
