Now that you guys are winning, will it still be a home game for the Leafs?

This is where you guys get to say stats are for losers but it is a pretty good analytics break down of the Sabres.

Agree with this. Big improvement but a long ways to go. Thankful they have three firsts to play with. Maybe they can get someone in that is young but an improvement. Isn't trouba unhappy in Winnipeg?

lol not unhappy just thinks he is doughty. He wants a lot more than the stats and play dictate. He might be a problem but I would rather throw money at him and let Myers walk. Unfortunately he might by pri 3 after Laine and Connor so hopefully there is enough left.

I don't know if there is anything on that roster that Win would like that they could realistically get.

Exactly. Let the team build organically and keep drafting

Agreed that rushing it would be the wrong call.

    For the anti-Reinhart crowd:

Sam Reinhart is the real deal

With two assists in Buffalo’s 5-2 loss to the Florida Panthers, Sam Reinhart extended his point streak to 11 games, matching Jack Eichel for the longest as a Sabre since 2010-11.
Sam Reinhart extended his point streak to 11 games, matching Jack Eichel (Feb. 14–March 7, 2017: 5-11—16 in 11 GP) for the longest such run by a @BuffaloSabres played since 2010-11.

With the spotlight off of the 2014 second-overall pick, Reinhart has been able to quietly flourish on the right wing alongside Eichel and Jeff Skinner, generating 34 points (eight goals, 26 assists) in 35 games this season.

What's crazy is all the Point per game players or close to. Hell Buff has 26 points in 28 games. Scoring is up but as a goalie I'm not sure I like it lol

And that, folks, should free up enough money to go towards signing Jeff Skinner to a long-term deal.

Any news on what Berglunds issue was? Did he just not want to be here?

Yeah I'd like to hear what Berglund's deal is. The Sabbres are one of the top 5 teams in the league and he would easily be the #2 center if he wanted it.
    Welcome to Buffalo Carter Hutton.

Sam with 6 shots on goal... that’s 6 more than Dahlin and 2 more than Skinner + Eichel.

Team needs more more fire power.

The team wants to get a longer look at Smith and Pilut. With Eichel back, they needed to open up a roster spot to do that.

They can open up a spot by waiving Elie. Wilson needs extended time, especially with an 11 day gap between games coming up. It's possible we see mittelstadt go down to get some games during that time
