Will St. Louis have a goalie next year?
and while nillson numbers are ok for a back up I wonder if this years rule change on goalie equipment will make the guys who are just naturally bigger, better goalies.

From what I read Jeff Zatkoff was the guy originally targeted. Apparently they had a verbal agreement and then Zatkoff decided nah, I'm going to the LA Kings. Zatkoff was the Penguins third string goalie and got to play in the first two games against the Rangers in the playoffs.
If Zatkoff wouldn't have reneged, then this trade wouldn't have happened.
