Shady McCoy, Mike Gillislee, James Wilder, Johnathan Williams, and Karlos Williams (despite suspension). Additionally, he's coming off of an acl tear that he suffered less than a year ago. He's facing an uphill battle. That's what I'm talking about. It's hard to expect an impact out of a 10th season back, let alone one that is coming off of an acl tear.

Nobody is expecting Reggie to be an impact player. He's backup insurance while 2 of our RBs are (possibly) gone early in the season. His place on the roster will have to be earned like any other and they'll take it from there. If he proves useful, possibly as a 3rd down back (he does have decent hands), he'll remain. If not, with (hopefully) Karlos getting back in shape, he'll get bumped out.

I would like to see him start the pre-season games and have shady doing as little as humanly possible.and if bush makes it to week 1, then we'll let him out to do the coin flip and ride the bike on the sideline up until week 8.

I absolutely agree with you. I'm just discounting the notion that he was signed to sell jerseys.

    Re: Reggie Bush just signed

Does Karlos not take up a roster spot since he is suspended for the first four games? If so, I can understand this move. But even then, if you cut him after the fourth game, you've paid him for a full season anyway.

By the way MMD, good job with the scoop. Now what is the bad news that you have and mentioned earlier?

If Bush passes #Bills physical & decides to sign, I'm told it would be 1 yr deal worth up to $3M w incentives mainly tied to special teams...per Vic Carucci.

I hope Bush hits all his incentives and surpasses everything by a lot. We don't want Shady doing anything with Special Teams, like at all.

I wasn't allowed to spill the beans because it was private but I appreciate all the abuse by the haters on here, go F-yourselves.

Excellent post, mystic. My thoughts exactly.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

If he signed with no bonus and gets cut prior to the season starting, would he be paid nothing?

Barring a Training camp related injury, we have no further obligations to pay him. Karlos Williams roster spot will remain open until the end of our game 4, so we need to have our house in order by then.

Agreed. His best use is that of a pass catching back on 3rd and 5+ yards.

A 1 year deal is no risk at all. It's all about staying healthy.

The Bills having some veteran depth at key positions, vet QB will be needed soon. Cardale is raw as heck, EJ loses games in minutes.

This source is not my relative like usual, so I'm getting this info from a not as well known. I'd call them mediocre versus poor.

I was also told something else today that I cannot mention at all, it's not good and I hope it doesn't come about. We have more trouble coming if it turns that way, OP will be in his F-in glory.
Uh oh. If Mitch's source is legit, which it looks like it is, there might be some bad news.
